Kaziukas Fair 2024

The year 2024 marks the centenary of the Lithuanian Song Festival, and Kaziukas Fair has become a herald of this grand celebration. The Lithuanian folk song Eisva mudu abudu invited visitors to dive into the springtime bustle of Vilnius. The fair featured impressive 3-meter-tall street puppets—Mergelė and Bernelis—who encouraged attendees not only to greet them but also to join in the dancing.

The Children’s Kaziukas Fair, a traditional part of the event, showcased young vendors and craft workshops. A highlight for many was the Gourmets’ Courtyard at Lukiškės Square, where visitors could relax and enjoy traditional dishes. Altogether, more than 800 vendors participated in the fair, including 400 offering food products. The trading area stretched an impressive 4.5 kilometers through the streets of the Old Town.
