About Kaziukas Fair

Kaziukas Fair has a long history dating back to the 17th century when it originated as a religious event to commemorate Saint Casimir, the patron saint of Lithuania.
Over time, it evolved into a grand marketplace and festival, drawing people from across Lithuania and neighboring countries.

Kaziukas Fair showcases a diverse array of traditional Lithuanian crafts and contemporary creations. Artisans from across Lithuania and neighbor countries gather to present meticulously crafted wooden carvings, intricate textiles, exquisite pottery, and other crafts. This event celebrates Lithuania's rich artistic heritage and contemporary ingenuity.

The Kaziukas Fair is also a celebration for food enthusiasts who are looking for new tastes and appreciate the products of small family farms.
Visitors can taste traditional dishes such as cepelinai, cone, vėdarai (Lithuanian potato sausages) and buy a wide variety of smoked meat and fish products, various cheeses, honey, homemade bread, cakes, traditional fair bagels, and sweet gingerbreads – Kaziukas hearts.

Traditional musicians, dance groups and street performances create a festive mood throughout the fair. You don't even notice how you get into the festive spirit yourself, singing and dancing.
